Writing

At university I wrote documents for the computer department and professors. In the corporate world I wrote and worked with business editors and publishers. I was fortunate to have worked with the editors and book producers of Prentice Hall.

After moving from Toronto to the San Francisco Bay area, I work in computer support, then began writing training material. While in the training group I worked with writers and trained to write. My writing and teaching skills have taken me around the world.

Books

Getting Started with Sun One:
Technical computer book I wrote.
One section included the design of a web server.
As my first attempt at a large writing project, there is much I would change. I would have focused on product design, implementation architecture, usage, and skipped installation.

A Christmas Card:
I rewrote A Christmas Carol for fun and as an exercise to learn how to write a story. One Christmas I sent it to a few people instead of sending a Christmas card.
Charles Dickens was my instructor on the topic of composing a story.
